Early Childhood Mental Health Coordinator - Full Time

 

This position will supervise and develop the Early Childhood Mental Health program

by developing a plan which indentifies necessary components of the program; identify

types of services to be offered, using EBT where possible; hire, train, and supervise

staff working with young children and provide consultation for staff to maintain

Reflective Supervision and Practice; meet accreditation requirements and maintain

sound clinical practices with the agency; provide supervision for Licensure when

applicable; maintain accurate and timely documentation and meet department direct

services productivity standards.

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Masters in Social Work or its equivalent from an accredited school. Knowledge and experience in individual, group and family therapy, particularly focusing on young children. Knowledge and experience in conducting mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning. Must demonstrate a clinical family systems orientation and ability to work with diverse populations with multiplicity of problems.
  • Licnesed by the State of Oklahoma.
  • 5+ years experience working with children and families with emphasis on Early Childhood social and emotional skills. Oklahoma Infant Mental Health endorsement preferred.
  • Experience and training in Reflective Supervision and Practice.

Therapist - School Based Children's Mental Health - Full Time

 

Within agency policy and clinical standards, provide direct counseling and therapy

services producing optimal outcome to a designated population, with a multiplicity of

problems. Services will be provided in one or more settings using EBT when possible.

Services include but are limited to: assessment & diagnosis, treatment planning,

individual, couple, child, family, therapy, group therapy and, crisis intervention.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation and meet department direct service

porductivity standards.

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Masters in Social Work or its equivalent from an accredited school. Knowledge and experience in individual, group and family therapy. Lead Teacher - Full Time

 

 

This position serves as classroom lead Teacher for an Early Childhood classroom. The

Lead Teacher will work collaboratively with an Assistyant Teacher to ensure the

successful operation of the classroom. The Lead Teacher also works with a team of

other classroom eachers, staff and family mambers to achieve outcomes for children

of all abilities.

Director of Counseling - Full Time

Operating under the administrative oversight of the Chief Operating Officer the Counseling Director carries broad program management responsibility, which includes policy formulation and execution, and program and/or agency support system management, as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Must possess a masters or doctorate degree in a human services area such as social work or counseling.
  • Must have 5 years previous experience providing clinical services to children and adults as well as management experience in a clinical area.

Special Requirements:

  • Must possess a license in the state of Oklahoma as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LBHP, or as a Ph.D.
  • Must also be credentialed to provide licensure supervision in one of the aforementioned areas. Must be able to carry a pager or cell phone to be available for crisis on an after hours basis.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have experience developing and operating a program budget.
  • Must also have experience managing clinical staff.
  • Trained in the use of wide variety of therapeutic techniques.
  • Working knowledge of DSM-IV.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload. Demonstrated ability to supervise staff.

Counselor - Part Time

Counselors provide counseling and/or therapy to clients as assigned in compliance with Sunbeam's culturally competent practice policy. Counselors are expected to prepare all required documents completed in such a manner that case records clearly indicate what occured from first appointment through termination, client gains, client assessments, treatment plans and such other documentation as required.

Education and Experience:

  • Graduate degree in social work or closely related counseling field with two years post graduate experience.
  • Licensed by the State of Oklahoma or immediatley eligible to be licensed.

The Master Teacher, in conjunction with the Site Director, is responsible for planning and coordinating the implementation of the education program for infants, toddlers, and pre-school age children. The Master Teacher ensures that all regulations and mandates for federal, state, and local licensing are met. The Master Teacher also works with a team of other classroom teachers and family members to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities.

Education and/or experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or in a related field with 30 hours in CD or ECE
  • A master's degree in Childdevelopment, early Childhood or in a related field preferred.
